From individuals to small businesses and corporations, voice over IP (VoIP) call termination is rapidly spreading. Simply put, the benefits of voice communications over the Internet is gaining popularity. While there are many providers of VoIP call termination services, some offer quality with cost effectiveness and global connectivity. And AVOXI is one such VoIP service provider.
The company can terminate calls to anywhere in the world in a cost-effective, high quality service manner utilizing VoIP technology. Plus, it has the ability to customize solutions based on the users’ network configuration, as well as connect via VoIP gateway through the PBX (News - Alert) TDM connection, via SIP trunk or H323 connection. In fact, for VoIP service, AVOXI utilizes both public and private Internet connections and can operate within a Cisco (News
- Alert) VPN.
According to AVOXI, for the traditional PBX application, the company can program and install a gateway on the customer’s premise. This gateway is connected to the Internet on one side and PBX on the other. However, AVOXI said that the type of gateway needed depends upon whether analog lines are connected or all calls terminate via VoIP.
With regards to an outbound call, the voice signal is transmitted from the customer’s PBX to the gateway on the customer site. There the call is changed from a voice signal to a data packet and sent across the Internet to the AVOXI Operation Center gateways utilizing Cisco Integrated Access Devices (IADs), said AVOXI. The gateways change the data packet back into a voice signal and push the call over the PSTN to its destination.
In addition, the company can also provide full PBX functionality, such as Automatic Call Distribution (ACD), Interactive Voice Response (IVR), call queuing and scripting and a host of other features. Furthermore, the VoIP service provider also offers inbound toll-free services.
As a leading Quality of Service (QoS) provider, AVOXI ensures that the service is backed by emergency backup generators, backup network sites and redundant PSTN carriers and ISPs. The company’s network engineers proactively monitor the network to make sure call traffic is flowing smoothly, said AVOXI. The company also brags about its 24 X 7 technical support.
